the buffalo was so important because it was used to make clothes,shelter,food,tools.some tools that are made from buffalo are hoes made out of shoulder blades, ropes and pillows made out of hair,soap made out of fat and knives are made out of bones.they began trading buffalo skin for european goods. the flesh of the buffalo is boiled,roasted or dried,the brain,nose,gristle and tongue is eaten raw.
